Koji Fujita, MD, PhD, is a clinical neuroscientist from Tokushima University, Japan. Dr. Fujita earned his medical degree and completed post-graduate training at Tokushima University in 2011. He joined the Center for Neurosciences’ Functional Brain Imaging Laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow in 2014.
Dr. Fujita is being trained to apply multimodal imaging, multivariate, and brain network analysis in patients with different movement disorders to advance understanding of the pathogenesis, progression and therapeutic modulation of these disorders. He is currently working on projects that investigate brain network abnormalities using functional magnetic resonance imaging, diffusion tensor imaging, or positron emission tomography in movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and dystonia.
