Dr. Andrew Feigin received his MD degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in 1988. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Rochester in 1992. He subsequently completed two years of subspecialty training in Movement Disorders and Experimental Therapeutics also at the University of Rochester. After an additional year as a Senior Instructor, Dr. Feigin joined the Movement Disorders Center at North Shore University Hospital in 1995, and is the director of the Huntington's Disease Society of America Center of Excellence there. He is an Associate Professor of Neurology at New York University. Dr. Feigin also directs the Center for Neuroscience's Experimental Therapeutics Unit at The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. Dr. Feigin’s clinical and research interests focus on Huntington’s disease (HD) and Parkinson’s disease (PD). He is specifically interested in using state-of-the-art imaging methods to develop new therapies for these disorders.
